Warning Lights Explained



The Red Brake Light:
  • Pull Over Immediately. 
  • Check your parking brake to make sure it is disengaged. 
  • Call A Tow Truck. 
  • Go to the nearest repair shop for a brake inspection. 


Oil Pressure/Level Warning Light
  • Pull over immediately. 
  • In most cases, this light symbolizes a low amount of oil. 
  • An engine with low oil pressure can be ruined in a matter of seconds. 
  • It is best to have your vehicle towed to the nearest repair shop for proper inspection. 


Engine Temperature Warning Light
  • Do not open your hood for a minimum of 20 minutes. 
  • Your vehicle could be overheating. 
  • You should take it in for an inspection. 


Battery Charging System Warning Light
  • Your car battery may have failed, it is safest to pull over. 
  • Go to the nearest repair shop for a battery inspection.


Check Engine/Service Engine Soon Light
  • Go to the nearest repair shop for a check up.
